Having a good time together on a spring evening.
From 18:00 to 21:00 April 6, 2024 at the site of the former Renshoji Temple and the Teramachi area (the center of Echizen City – about a 10-minute walk from our hotels) we expect around 150 people will gather for an exchange between the foreign artists attending the IMC 2024 and the citizens of Echizen. Guests can walk around the Teramachi area and enjoy Takefu’s old town, temples, and Japanese culture.
There is no fee and you don’t need to sign up or make reservations – just come and enjoy!
Food trucks will be available (at your own expense) at the site of the former Ryoshinji Temple. Enjoy the food you purchase at tables we’ll set up nearby.
The Echizen City Administration will organize walking tours of four temples nearby. Local people and foreign guests will make small groups and go around the course. You’ll get to see our wonderful cultural assets and architecture of the temples. There will be an interpreter at each temple.

- Yoganji Temple (cultural property, garden, tea experience) 6:00-9:00 (tea for 500 yen, till 8 p.m.);
- Daihoji Temple (cultural property, weeping cherry blossoms) 6～9 p.m.;
- Choonji Temple (cultural assets) 6～9 p.m., but they will show the cultural assets only from 7 p.m. for 30 minutes;
- Ryumonji Temple (cultural assets) 6～9 p.m., but they will show the cultural assets only from 8 p.m. for 30 minutes;

Other attractions are planned such as Japanese music, ikebana, calligraphy, and traditional performing arts.
An event map indicating the location of temples, restaurants and bars will be created both in Japanese and English.
Bus transportation* to the hotels will be organized after the event (for 80 persons).

内容：国際木版画会議に出席する外国人と市民との交流会・日本文化の紹介

内容：寺町を中心に武生の町並み、寺院、日本文化を紹介する
旧蓮尚寺跡地を拠点会場とし、周辺の4か寺に誘導し、所蔵文化財の公開や寺院建物見学、寺院での日本文化の鑑賞の機会を提供する。
