Echizen Conference Theme & Subtopics
The 5th International Mokuhanga Conference , will take place from April 4 to 6, 2024 in Echizen City, Fukui Prefecture, Japan at the Imadate Art Center and Echizen Washi Village.
Our theme is
“Inheritance & Innovation: Mokuhanga Artists Explore Japanese Paper“
We welcome participation in the conference at all levels of interest (juried exhibitions, workshops, demonstrations, open portfolios and product showcase), and encourage connections to the topics suggested by the theme.
