Craft Village Tours: Several FREE micro bus tours are being offered by the Echizen City Administration.
- Craft Village Bus “A” runs from 13:00 to 16:00 each day of the Conference and will transport up to 20 people to see knives, cutlery, and chests of drawers.
- Craft Village Bus”B” runs from 13:00 to 16:00 each day of the Conference and will transport up to 20 people to see lacquerware and pottery.
- Papermaking Factories Bus “C” will run twice each day of the Conference from 13:00 to 15:00 and again from 15:30 to 17:30 to shuttle up to 10 participants of the papermaking workshops and to walk around the Otaki area and visit papermaking factories and the Shrine.
Fukui Tour: The Echizen City Administration offers an April 7 bus tour from 9:00 to 15:00 to visit sightseeing attractions in Fukui Prefecture like Eiheiji Temple. Free of charge, but registration is required (do not register for this if you’re going on the Nara Tour).
Nara Tour: Travel to Nara on April 7‐8 to see how sumi ink is made. On April 8 we will break into two groups to visit the sumi makers Kobaien and Boku-undo. The fee covers bus transportation from Echizen to Nara April 7 (leaves Echizen at 10:00 and arrives Nara at 15:00), one night hotel accommodation in Nara (breakfast included), excursion to sumi makers and interpreter services.
Note: Sumi-making workshop (“nigiri-zumi”) will carry an additional charge to be collected in Nara: Kobaien: from 4,000JPY, and Boku-undo: 1,650JPY.

伝統産業ツアー: 越前市主催の無料のマイクロバスツアーをいくつか開催します。
- クラフト ビレッジ バス「A」はカンファレンスの開催期間中毎日 13:00 から 16:00 まで運行し、ナイフ・刃物、タンスなどを見学します。定員20人。
- クラフトビレッジバス「B」は会議期間中毎日13:00から16:00まで運行し、漆器や陶器を見学します。定員20人。
- 製紙工場見学バス「C」は、カンファレンスの会期中毎日 13:00 ～15:00 と 15:30 ～17:30 の 2 回運行します。参加者は大滝地区を散策しながら、和紙工場や神社を訪れます。定員12人
福井観光: 越前市の主催で、永平寺など福井県内の観光名所を巡るバスツアーを4月7日9～15時まで実施します。無料ですが、登録が必要です（奈良ツアーに参加する場合は、登録しないでください）。
奈良観光: 4月7～8日に奈良へ行き、墨作りの工場を見学します。 4月8日は2つのグループに分かれて、墨メーカーである古梅園と墨運堂を訪問します。料金には、4月7日の越前から奈良へのバス移動（越前10:00発、奈良15:00着）、奈良市内ホテル1泊（朝食付き）、墨工房見学、通訳サービスが含まれます。握り墨体験は別料金です（古梅園4,000円、墨運堂1,650円）。
